1. Counseling Division Program Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join our team and provide support for individuals that want to enroll and/or are enrolled in our counseling and mental health programs through Alfred University.  This energetic individual will be responsible for the oversight of recruitment, continued engagement of students and processing of Alfred graduate programs offered in NYC.  

Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Recruitment:  The selected candidate will work closely with the Marketing division to recruit individuals who may be interested in CITE’s counseling/mental health programs.
  • Recruit Management:  The selected individual will be the initial contact person for all program recruitment activities and “prospect” (individuals interested in programs) management.  
  • “Funnel” Administration:  The ideal candidate will work to coordinate the program’s logistical operations including completion of student applications and subsequent acceptance and enrollment in their desired program.
  • Program Management:  The ideal candidate will maintain regular communication with the College and students and monitor student progress throughout the program.

Requirements and skills

  • Preferred Education, Experience and Background:  A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred; experience as a Program Coordinator or commensurate role is desired, but not required; outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and public); an understanding of marketing practices; and an understanding of the field of higher education would be beneficial.  
  • Preferred Skills: 
    • Although this position is a full-time, in-person position located in Brooklyn (50 Court Street), the selected candidate must be willing to, and enjoy, visiting site  locations and offices and co-hosting Company sponsored events in the Metropolitan area when necessary. 
    • Excellent computer literacy including Excel, Word, Google Suite and an understanding of professional standard telephone and email etiquette.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Salary:  Salary will be commensurate with background and experience with a starting point of $60,000 + performance-based increases and bonus.
  2. Benefits: Competitive benefits package and paid parking when reporting to the Brooklyn office.
  3. Compensated, weekend work may be occasionally required.

2. Engagement, Marketing and Seminar Program Coordinator

CITE is expanding its engagement and marketing support programs and we are looking to add a brand-new position to our team –Engagement, Marketing and Seminar Program Coordinator – in order to provide high-quality support to current students and alumni 

Job Description: 

CITE is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic engagement, marketing, and seminar coordinator to be a part of our expanding team. The alumni engagement coordinator will work closely with our program team to provide support for students who have graduated from our programs, which are designed to help working people obtain the degree or certification they need to gain meaningful professional careers in the New York City Metro areas. Specifically, the person in this position will develop strong relationships with our current students, prospective students and alumni and help our students finalize their degree aspirations and ultimately career goals.  The position, will also be responsible for working with current staff and alumni to develop a “resource” network where students and recent grads have an opportunity to network and engage with CITE alumni who are in need of high quality, well-training individuals.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities will include collaborating with the executive director, the program director, and other members of the program team to implement and improve our current engagement strategy.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Recruitment:  Developing strategies to recruit student participants for our programs.
  • Engagement: Developing alumni engagements workshops based on educational trends, individual student needs, and recommendations pulled from participant surveys to best meet the needs of our alumni 
  • Tracking: Tracking alumni data, including graduation rates, education progress, and job history
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to share the CITE story through social media, video, and other marketing platforms 
  • Quantitative Goals:  Meeting quantitative program growth goals

Requirements and Skills 

  • First and Foremost: A strong commitment to the mission of CITE
  • Preferred Education, Experience and Background:  
    • A Bachelor’s degree is required. 
    • Experience as a Program Coordinator or commensurate role is desired, but not required. 
    • Experience in education, human services, or related field desired;
    • An understanding of marketing
    • A resourceful style with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects 
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team 
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 
    • Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills 
    • Exceptional attention to detail 
    • An ability to network and build alliances
  • Preferred Skills:
