Subhas Mohan – Alumni Spotlight

Subhas has earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Stony Brook University, studied and researched neurotoxicity at New Medical College, completed his doctorate studies at Sage College and a certification in Systems Leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education.  Subhas has served the New York City community for over 23 years as teacher of chemistry, physics and mathematics a department chairperson of mathematics and science, a curriculum writer for the NYC department of education and currently the principal of EPIC HS South, a New York City public school in South Ozone Park Queens, which, indecently is the community where he attended high school.  He is an avid outdoors adventurist, who enjoy running, mountain biking, hiking and hope to one day compete on the American Ninja Warrior show.  He is most proud and passionate about his role as a father of three and a coach of his Science Olympiad Team.
