Moskowitz on Testing

Moskowitz on Testing

“WE REALLY EMPHASIZE THE JOY IN OUR TESTING EXPERIENCE”

That’s actually a direct quote from Eva Moskowitz.  It’s true that the interview with reporters was held on April 1st, so maybe it is an April Fools joke?  She also heartily defended standardized testing, and criticized the opt out movement because students would be unprepared for testing down the road. I’m 58 years old and I’ve done some different things in my life, some of them successfully, some not so much.  I can confidently tell you that how hard you work makes a difference.  How smart you work makes a difference.  How good a fit you are for your job makes a difference. Your emotional intelligence makes a difference.  How well your write can make a difference.  How well you take a test?  Nah.

Maybe it was an April Fools joke.  One can hope, but I doubt it.
